Eastview Retirement Community was constructed in 1989 and consists of two floors with a total of fifty units, all of which are one bedroom configurations.

Typical activities at Eastview include weekly worship services, monthly covered dish meals, weekly bingo sessions, weekly exercise sessions, periodic monopoly games.

Eastview has a well run beauty/barber shop.

Eastview has an onsite coin operated laundry.

Eastview is conveniently located within walking distance from shopping centers, grocery stores, drug stores and churches.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
Yes, Applicants must be at least 62 years of age.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO LIVE AT EASTVIEW?
Eligibility to rent at Eastview is based on age, income and assets. Eligibility cannot be determined until completion of the application process.

WHAT IF I AM DISABLED?
Eastview is a facility specifically designed for the elderly, those 62 and above. We do have five handicap accessible units that are available to those who are mobility impaired whether or not they are 62, providing they would readily benefit from living in such units. All other units are available only to those who are 62 and above.

HOW IS THE RENT CALCULATED?
Rent is calculated based on 30 percent of your income after allowable medical bills are deducted. All rent is based on guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

ARE THERE OTHER COSTS?
All utilities are furnished except cable television and telephone services.

ARE THE APARTMENTS FURNISHED?
The apartments are furnished with refrigerators, electric ranges and carpets. All other furnishings are provided by the resident to give their apartment a more personal touch.

ARE THERE LAUNDRY FACILITIES?
Eastview has a well-equipped laundry located on the ground floor.

HOW IS THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED?
Each apartment has an individual thermostat to control the temperature.

WHAT SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED?
Religious, social and recreational activities are provided. The complex is conveniently located near many shopping facilities.
